Lahaul and Spiti is the district situated in the Indian state Himachal Pradesh . In earlier times two separate districts lahaul and spiti were merged and the district of lahaul and spiti was formed. The district headquarter is keylong in lahaul. This district was formed in 1960. ➤The entrance pass of spiti valley from lahaul is kunzum la. This district is also connected to Manali via Rohtang pass. This district has almost all area covered with forests so there we can see a lot of wild animals in this district area. The valley has snow leopard, foxes ibex, Himalayan brown bear, Himalayan blue sheep and musk deer.
